Background information

1GNC is a multi-national Headquarter environment where military and civilians work close together (that is exempt from VAT). It contains mainly out of German and Dutch personal. Languages within the HQ (Headquarter) is mandatory English, preferable is also German and/or Dutch. Because of this, the CV has to be delivered in English

All tasks related to the job to be executed from 1GNC, Münster, Germany. Candidate should be willing to work in Münster the whole week. Kind request to COMMIT to also try to identify candidates that are already living in Germany, or candidates with a German background. NATO clearances are applicable. Language of instruction is English.

Assignment

Act as project manager WRT co-ordination of planning and execution of CIS related projects within 1GNC Peacetime Locations (PTL), including and if required in the deployed related domains, ICCW staff branches, subordinate units, external national and international agencies and contractors. Support the Change, Incident and Problem Management Process by planning and implementation of new CIS ICCW 1GNC stakeholders and external military and civilian partners. Develop and review SOP/SOI in relation to developments and changes within the CIS infrastructure at 1GNC PTL.

Manadatory qualifications

1. Candidate has proven workingexperience in a multi-national environment.
2. Candidate has proven experience in executing management functions within CIS support.
3. Candidate has proven experience in project management.
4. Candidate holds a certificate in ITIL Foundation
5. Candidate holds a certificate in Prince 2. 
6. Candidate has experience with and courses completed for ITSM Tool Training (for example Service Now).
7. Candidate has proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
8. Candidate is proficient in English at level 3332.

Desirable qualifications

1. Knowledge of strategic and tactical communication networks (esp. NLD, DEU and NATO) is preferred. 
2.  Working experience in military divisional or corps environment is preferred.
3. University or bachelor degree in communications and/or information science is preferred. Project 
4. Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
5. NATO C4ISR Technology Orientation (ETOC Course ID: CCC-SM-22206) is preferred. MS SharePoint 
6. User Training (ETOC Course ID: CCC-ET-32336) is preferred.
7. Proficiency in the German language is preferred.
8.  Experience in budget management is preferred
