Opdrachtomschrijving

De werkzaamheden en functieprofiel zijn omschreven in het Engels. De voertaal tijdens de opdracht zal ook in het Engels zijn.

The IT Senior Administrator is responsible for engineering, administering and maintaining the MCCE Local Area Network (LAN), contingency planning and further development of the Communication and Information Systems/Information Technology (CIS/IT) used in the MCCE and advice Chief

Support in all CIS/IT affairs. Also, the IT Senior Administrator is responsible, under the Directorate, for the overall IT security at MCCE.

1. • Support the users in the day- to-day use of the system and provide them with network technical support.

2. • Maintain and execute system contingency plans (backup, restore, troubleshooting, diagnose problems, disaster recovery).

• Preventive Maintenance activities:

• Perform Server and Workstation Software Updates

• Manage System, Services and Network health status

• Manage storage space and quotas

• Corrective maintenance activities;

3. • Maintain and develop security policies, controls and their compliance;

• Analyze security incidents and escalation of security events;

• Supervise system logs, firewalls and proxies,

• Identify and analyze security risks.

• Apply security updates,

• Perform user management (access control, authorization, quotas),

4. quality standards.

5. maintain and execute system contingency plans (backup, restore, disaster recovery). 

6.Support introduction training of new MCCE Staff members as applicable regarding the MCCE CIS/IT infrastructure/environment. 

Eisen bij deze aanvraag

• Kandidaat heeft minimaal 5 jaar aantoonbare ervaring in een complexe, internationale omgeving waarbij gewerkt is met de volgende typen tooling: Monitoring-Tools; Cyber-Tools, Administering-Tools, Backup-Tools, Problem-Managing-Tools, Automated-Tools, Capacity planning tools.

• Kandidaat heeft minimaal 5 jaar ervaring met het werken binnen een internationale organisatie
  
•  Kandidaat heeft kennis van en werkervaring met de volgende systemen; Windows server support met focus op: Active Directory en file-and print services; Microsoft IIS; Microsoft 365; Microsoft server 2019/2023; Microsoft SharePoint; Microsoft SQL; Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
• Kandidaat heeft een goede uitdrukkingsvaardigheid in de Engelse taal, zowel in woord als in geschrift. Niveau C1. Dit dient te blijken uit het CV en zal tijdens een mogelijk toelichtend gesprek met uw kandidaat ook worden getoetst. 

• Kandidaat heeft bij voorkeur kennis van en werkervaring met VMWare & Vcenter, fortinet firewalls, WordpPress webdesign, Hardware-Support HPE en LOGFAS/EVE opgedaan in de afgelopen 5 jaar.
• Kandidaat heeft bij voorkeur kennis van en werkervaring met Veeam backup software opgedaan in de afgelopen 5 jaar.
• Kandidaat heeft bij voorkeur kennis van en werkervaring met switch en router-management opgedaan in de afgelopen 5 jaar
• De kandidaat heeft bij voorkeur kennis van het MCCE/kan ervaring in het MCCE overleggen.
